Elspeth pays tribute to Lord Russell-Johnston

Elspeth today paid tribute to Lord Russell-Johnston, former leader of the Scottish Liberal Party, who died in Paris yesterday, aged 75.

She said:

"He was a great European, a committed Liberal and a man of real integrity and warmth of personality. I shall always remember him both for the inspirational speeches that he gave at Party Conferences and for the help that he gave me in my own political endeavours".
